When it was created 30 years ago, the Tower Foundation of Manhasset was a small, not-for-profit organization, founded by members of the community to bridge the gap between a decrease in state funding and an increase in the numbers of students in our district. Since then, Tower has flowered into an essential piece of the education puzzle for Manhasset, and has gone on to donate $2.4 million to all of our schools, thanks to a variety of inventive fundraising initiatives designed to raise supplemental funds from the private sector.
