Working in conjunction with the Junior Tower Club-the high-school arm of the foundation—Tower was able to pull off a contact-free, Covid-safe and overwhelmingly successful Halloween drive-through that not only raised money for the organization but provided some much needed fun and sense of normalcy to our then-beleaguered community. “It is extremely important to engage the community when it comes to fundraising, because Tower is about our community,” stresses Derasse. “We were not surprised by the community’s response, because we know the Manhasset community members to be extremely generous and caring. We appreciate their expression of love and support!”
